LEON first opened on Carnaby Street in 2005. Now with 10 restaurants in the group and with plans to open a further 10 in London LEON aims to serve the best food to the most number of people.
Since this date LEON has continued to win over customers by serving take-away or eat in breakfast, lunch and dinner with a seasonally changing menu using the freshest and well sourced ingredients
LEON is the brain child of business consultant John Vincent, former chef Henry Dimbleby (son of acclaimed cookery writer Josceline) and LEON’s chef and food writer Allegra McEvedy. Allegra is a former chef of River Café and Robert De Niro’s TriBeCa in New York. Together the pioneering threesome spotted a gap in the market and remain committed to changing the common negative perception that fast food must mean unhealthy food. LEON combines the speed and modest pricing of a fast food outlet with high-quality, flavour packed food. Using seasonal ingredients cuts down on food miles and ensures that they are always at their peak. For those without time to leave the office or make it to one of their restaurants LEON even have a delivery service that delivers in less than 40 minutes.
LEON classics such as sweet potato falafel, Magic Mackerel Cous Cous and LEON’s Superfood Salad and fresh flatbreads remain on the menu for lunch alongside new dishes such as daily changing soups including Miso & Soba Noodle and Hungarian Beef and Sweet Paprika.
