By Berenice, Thursday 25 August 2016

On Tuesday 6 September at Arena’s new event, ‘Pub sector: The changing landscape’ with Jonathon Swaine, Managing Director, Fuller's Inns, the important role that food has played in the evolution of the pub will be under discussion. Peter Backman from Horizons will present a twenty year ‘Tour d’horizon’ that will look especially at food and the development of the pub over the years, with some thoughts on the changes that the future might hold. Fuller’s Inns’ managing director, Jonathon Swaine, will also talk about the importance of food at Fuller’s Inns and its commitment to nurturing chef talent.

The Fuller’s Chefs’ Guild is delivering incredible results both in terms of chef retention and the quality, ingenuity and taste of the food that is leaving the kitchens.  Training and career paths for all has helped to attract better people, inspire them to new heights and retain them.

The new event has been designed to navigate the changes, challenges and opportunities for the vibrant pub sector, as well as giving hospitality and foodservice professionals the opportunity to connect with industry colleagues.
