People are fundamental to success in our industry. It’s therefore no surprise that businesses are investing in training and development programmes to nurture talent and get the very best out of their teams. On Tuesday 6 September at Arena’s new event, ‘Pub sector: The changing landscape’, Jonathon Swaine, Fuller's Inns’ managing director will reveal how home-grown talent is hugely important at Fuller’s.

He will give an insight into how the company has invested heavily in creating interesting, fun and relevant development programmes for all levels of Fullers’ Inns to ensure the Fuller’s Academy is well-stocked with talented and motivated individuals who are ready to take the next step up.

Adding value to the event that has been designed to consider the changes, challenges and opportunities for the vibrant pub sector, Peter Backman from Horizons will also present a twenty year ‘Tour d’horizon’. He will look especially at the role that food has played in the development of the pub over the years with some thoughts on the changes that the future might hold.
