Arena’s Savoy Lecture delivered real food for thought

What a fantastic evening Arena’s Savoy Lecture was! Alex Fisher delivered a fascinating lecture. He really did give us plenty to think about on the future global challenges our industry faces and the requirement to respond effectively.
It's incredible that the world’s population is growing so fast – with 750 million more people predicted in 2020 verses 2010 – and that the increasing shortage of global resources could force us to consider other food options. Perhaps the dried critters that Alex invited the audience to try could really be a regular snack in the UK in the years to come?
